My heart is hurting

I sat up late last night thinking about the community in Chardon Ohio with my heart aching and tears rolling down my cheeks.I can't imagine what these families and students are going through.All I want to do is wrap my arms around those kids and tell them it will be ok but unfortunatly we live in a society of crime,violence and guns.As I tucked my kids in bed tonight we prayed for the families of the victims,the students and the family of the shooter.I pray god can bring them peace and understanding.

Happy Saturday

We are having a quiet day here at home.Hubby is at work,Chase is at the movies and Kenzie is at the ice arena skating with friends so I am home by myself catching up on the never ending laundry and cleaning the bathrooms.Tonight were hitting aldi's and sams club for goceries.We got about 5" of snow last night so I am hoping to go sledding in between church and the kids youth group event tomorrow.Hope everyone is having a great weekend

Busy week

I am so glad it is friday tomorrow.Even with the day off on monday all we have done is run from one place or another all week.We have a pretty quiet weekend planned other then having 5 5th graders at our house tomorrow after school to finish their science project.Tomorrow eveing were getting back into friday evening family movie nights which we haven't done since christmas time.Saturday I hope to get some grocery shopping done and restock the chest freezer.I hope to be able to play around on here and get some pictures up so the blog isn't so boring

Ok after some thinking today and a email sent from a girl who's blog I follow asked me If I had a blog she could follow.I am very new at this and not very good with computers so I will take any one has to offer.
